Privacy Policy

The official Privacy policy.

We at Securibox understand your concern about how we share, secure and use the information you have shared with us when you visit the website Securibox.eu (“WebSite”) and use our services.

“Private Information” for purposes of this policy means information provided to us that identifies you, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, any account information or other information you store about your relationship with your agents (“Agents”), and any documents and accompanying information that are stored on your behalf by Securibox.

Our privacy policy makes it clear how that information is handled at our end, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. We adhere to what we say in this privacy policy.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you can choose not to use our WebSite. By accessing or using our WebSite, you agree to this privacy policy.

Information collected and stored for you

Certain areas and features of the WebSite are available to you without registration or the need to provide Securibox any information. However, other features of the WebSite require registration, which may involve provision to Securibox of an email address, a username, a password and a shared secret (collectively the “Registration Information”). In order to benefit from the full functionality of the service, if you choose to setup Agents on Securibox, you also may be required to provide your account credentials for those Agents. When you connect to a Agent within the Service, you elect to share certain information from your Securibox Membre Identification and any account Information or documents you exchange with that Provider will be accessible by that Agent.

When using third party authentication, we use a technology called OAuth to authorize Securibox to access that account. OAuth is a secure protocol that gives us access to your data without actually giving us your password. You can revoke OAuth access either within Securibox or within the third party service.

From time to time Securibox may request other Private Information to provide you with other benefits of the service. In all such instances, you will be given the opportunity to provide or to decline to provide that information, and it will be used only for the stated purpose. Securibox may make anonymous or aggregate Private Information and use and disclose such data only in a non-personally identifiable manner to:

  • improve the design, functionality and content of the Service;
  • to enable Agents to improve their use of the Service and to benefit their customers through the Service;
  • to provide reports and analysis that may benefit Membres or Providers; or
  • to develop products and services that might interest Securibox Membres and Providers. Such information does not identify you individually.

Typically no Securibox employee will ever access your Private Information. In certain rare circumstances, if security, fraud, or other problems are identified or are suspected involving your account, a Securibox employee may need to access some portion of your Registration Information, account credentials, account information or any other Private Information to eliminate such problems. Any such access is always logged and monitored and is only conducted to the extent necessary to address the problem. Any employees that conduct such activity have been selected in accordance with Securibox security policies and practices and are bound by confidentiality obligations. They are subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. In those circumstances, Securibox may share Private Information with the applicable Provider as necessary to fix the security, fraud, or other problems.

Your private information is not for sale

Securibox will not sell or rent your Private Information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. Securibox uses and discloses your Private Information only as follows:

  • to analyse WebSite usage and improve the service;
  • to deliver to you any administrative notices, alerts and communications relevant to your use of the service;
  • for market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity;
  • to third-party contractors that provide services to Securibox and are bound by privacy restrictions at least as protective as this policy (e.g. auditors, technical consultants);
  • to enforce Securibox’s Terms of service.

Control over your data

Your data is yours. You can remove it anytime you want. We will retain your information for as long as your account is c-main or as needed to provide the service to you. If you wish to Annuler your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide the Service to you, you may close your account using the settings menus, and if you have questions you may contact us at support@securibox.eu . We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you request Securibox to delete your Securibox account, your data will be permanently expunged from Securibox’s primary production servers and further access to your account will not be possible. Securibox will also promptly disconnect any Connection between you and Providers on the Service. Aggregate or anonymous data derived from your account Information may remain on Securibox production servers indefinitely. Your data may also remain on a backup server or media. Securibox keeps these backups to ensure Securibox’s continued ability to provide the Service to you in the event of malfunction or damage to Securibox’s primary production servers.

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer wish to use the Service, you may correct, update or delete inaccuracies by making the change within your account and you can request assistance by emailing us at support@securibox.eu. We will endeavour to respond to your access request within 30 days.

Accessing and updating your information

If your registration information or any other information stored in Securibox changes, you may update it any time by logging into the Service and editing the information online via your account.

Information security

From the time you submit your login credentials, the communications between your computer and Securibox are encrypted using industry-standard 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL3”) technology or an equivalent or superior technology. SSL3 enables client and server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering and message forgery.

Any data transmitted between one of your Providers and Securibox (e.g. when establishing a Connection or sending and receiving documents from the Provider) is secured at all times using SSL3 and encrypted in transport between the Provider and Securibox.

Securibox uses a combination of firewall barriers, encryption techniques and authentication procedures, among others, to maintain the security of your online session and to protect Securibox accounts and systems from unauthorized access.

When you register for the Service and you choose to select authentication maind on login /password rather than external authentication providers, Securibox requires a password from you for your privacy and security. Securibox servers are operated in a secure facility. Access requires multiple levels of authentication, including biometrics (hand print scan) procedures. Security personnel monitor the facilities 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Securibox databases are protected from general employee access both physically and logically. Securibox encrypts your Service password so that your password cannot be recovered, even by Securibox. All backup drives and tapes also are encrypted.

All Private Information (including any documents stored on your behalf) is always encrypted with 256 bit encryption, or an equivalent or superior technology, and is only viewable by you after entering your login credentials.

No employee may put any sensitive content on any insecure machine (i.e., nothing can be taken from the database and put on an insecure laptop).

However, it is important to understand that these precautions apply only to the WebSite and systems. Securibox exercises no control over how your information is stored, maintained or displayed by you, third parties or on third-party sites.

Disclosure of information when required by law

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this policy, Securibox reserves the right (and you hereby authorize Securibox) to share and disclose your Private Information when Securibox determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate:

  • To enforce Securibox’s rights against you or in connection with a breach by you of this policy or Securibox’s Terms of Use;
  • To prevent prohibited or illegal activities; or
  • When required by any applicable law, rule regulation, court order, warrant, subpoena or other legal process
